Radworks™ Diagnostic Software v5.1®

Diagnostic level software is Applicare's High End medical viewing application.  Diagnostic software has the advantage of an easy to learn and intuitive user interface.  It can run on off-the-shelf PC's architecture and Windows™ operating system, which makes it a very cost effective solution.  Designed to replace the film alternator, the flexibility of the software allows the user to configure it completely to his or her preferences.  By using Windows NT™ Policy Editor, multiple users can use the same system with their own tailored layout.

Diagnostic software accepts color and monochrome images, and can display them simultaneously on one screen.  Applications are very diverse, (i.e. Radiology, Pathology, Ultrasound, Medical Photography, Endoscopy, Nuclear Medicine, etc...).  A major benefit is the advantage of a consistent user interface throughout the hospital.

Ideal Starting Point for PACS

Diagnostic software features a bundle of several software modules in order to create a feature rich and powerful high-end system for diagnostic use by the radiologist. Diagnostic software is configured on a standard Windows™ NT PC, with 1 to 4 High Resolution Monitors, making your front-end system suitable for the most demanding applications.

Fast Interpretation, Less Interaction

By using a number of tools, softcopy reading can optimize the workflow.  Some examples are individual Hanging Protocols, which eliminate the need for manual presentation by technologists, and minimize the requirements for radiologists to interactively manipulate and sequence the images.  Synchronized cine; Maximum Intensity Projection and Multiplanar Reformatting on CT and MR images also enhance viewing when further study is required.  Other strong features include True Size display of data, and the possibility to assign Key images for quick reference after a study has been stored to the RadWorks WebServer.

Integration of RIS

One of the most critical points in a PACS environment is the integration of information from RIS systems.  Konica has many alternatives of managing the information workflow, and improving the access to patient records.  Diagnostic software allows the creation of reports, and also integration in various ways to your reporting system (including front ends such as IBM Medspeak).  Integration using HTML browsers is also supported, making your workstation highly versatile.
