The Review level software is designed
to be used within a basic front-end workstation for clinicians, or as
a primary -reading station in the radiology department. Intended
applications are extremely diverse based upon image type; (i.e. Radiology,
Pathology, Ultrasound, Medical Photography, Endoscopy, Nuclear Medicine,
etc...). A major benefit is the consistency of the user interface
throughout the enterprise.
Intuitive User Interface
Review software has the advantage of an easy-to-learn
user interface and can run on industry standard PC architecture and Windows
operating systems. Hanging Protocols allow the user to configure
the software to his or her preferences, and the software allows multiple
users on the same system to have their own tailored layout. Review
software accepts color and monochrome images, and can display them simultaneously
on a single screen when equipped appropriately. |
Optimized
Soft Copy Reading
Review software has built-in tools to work more effectively
compared to a film alternator: Some examples are: Hanging Protocols; linking
synchronized MR and CT images; the ROI tool for fast W/L settings; worklist
aware functionally; and report integration. Its DICOM connectivity
makes it an optimal first choice for connecting, viewing and transmitting
images from multiple DICOM modalities in an integrated PACS environment.
Scalability
Review software can grow with your needs towards a High-End
Workstation. The optional Radworks software modules include: Maximum
Intensity Projection and Multi Planar Reformatting for CT and MR images
and Quality Control to ensure that patient data is consistent throughout
the hospital. Review software allows the creation of reports and
the integration of your reporting system (including front ends such as
IBM Medspeak, MS Word) with a RIS.
